We love fests!
Every summer our town has a fest called "Schlemmen am See." "Schlemmen" doesn't sound like a very fancy word, but it really means "feast"..."Feast by the Lake!" Tons of restaurants in Boeblingen set up a tent and serve their finest drinks, entrees, and desserts. We went for lunch this year with the kids and really enjoyed it.
Jim and I got pasta with pfefferlinge (Chanterelle) mushrooms, which are in season at this time of year.
Drew wasn't hungry.
