We drove a little under an hour north of us to the city of Bad Wimpfen to check out their Christmas market. It's a very cute little town with a completely preserved historic old town.
Jim and William tried out our new baby hiking backpack for the first time. Wm seemed to really like being on Daddy's back; he was happy to just look around.
We promised Drew a cookie on a string.

Drew wanted to go home. We tried to placate him with a huge lollipop. It worked for 3 minutes.
The "Knusper Knusper Hänchen" (Crispy Crispy Chicken) restaurant below was all decked out to look like a gingerbread house.
Below you can see the Christkind (angel) and Saint Nicholas. In Germany, St. Nick leaves a few small treats in children's boots on December 6th, and the Christkind brings the gifts on Christmas Eve. I don't know who the guy in the blue outfit is.

Great photos! On our very quick drive through Germany, it was really nice to see all of the Christmas decorations! I love Germany! Wish we could have visited with you! :)
